Even the Pakistani cricketer responded and waved out to the fans, who recorded the video and posted it online. The clip went viral and Shoaib Malik won hearts of the Indian fans. Talking about the match between India and Pakistan, the Super 4 tie between the game not only witnessed Rohit Sharma and company winning the contest by nine wickets. The game also witnessed several records being broken. Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma brought in the highest opening partnership in the ODIs for India. They broke the 10-year old record of 201 run stands made by Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir against New Zealand in Hamilton, 2009.
Also, MS Dhoni became the most capped player after Sachin Tendulkar to make 505th appearance for India. Raul Dravid played the 504 matches for India. Whereas, Sachin Tendulkar tops the list with 664 matches.
Today India will take on Afghanistan at the Dubai International Stadium for the dead-rubber match. Ravindra Jadeja has a chance to surpass Sachin Tendulkar to become the second-highest wicket-taker at the Asia Cup.
