As per the reports, Harper was later admitted to a hospital. "I've never seen a concussion in a cricket game like that, where it's more football or rugby when someone gets taken out from underneath," said Melbourne Renegades coach Michael Klinger.

"I hope he's okay, you never want to see that on the field. At first he stayed down and clutched his head and he was a bit wobbly legs, but after the doctor and umpire spoke to him he seemed okay. Hopefully I'll go and talk to him after this," Ellis said. Rashid Khan Comes Up With 'Camel Bat' During Melbourne Renegades vs Adelaide Strikers BBL 2019-20 Clash.

The incident took place during the fourth over of Melbourne Renegades' innings who were chasing 191. Hobart Hurricanes eventually won the contest by just four runs in a last-over finish. Interestingly, it was Ellis who bowled the last over. Melbourne Renegades required 11 runs off it, but managed only six runs besides losing well-set Beau Webster's wicket.
