Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar's son, Arjun Tendulkar, achieved a significant milestone in his First-Class career. Arjun, who is playing for Goa in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2024-25, picked up his maiden five-wicket haul against Arunachal Pradesh on Day 1 at the Goa Cricket Association Academy Ground in Porvorim on Wednesday. The Goa all-rounder dismantled Arunachal Pradesh's batting line-up with his lethal seam bowling and registered figures of 5/25 in the first innings. The 25-year-old Arjun picked the first five wickets of Arunachal Pradesh, which provided the perfect start for Goa during Day 1. Arjun removed Neelam Obi (22), Nabam Hachang (0), Chinmay Patil (3), Jay Bhavsar (0), and Moji Ete (1). Arjun was well supported by Mohit Redkar (3/15) and Keith Pinto (2/31) as the trio helped their side to restrict Arunachal Pradesh below 100 runs on day 1.

After an impressive bowling performance, Goa batters showed no mercy against the Arunachal Pradesh bowling attack.
