Sachin Tendulkar Wishes Brett Lee on His 43rd Birthday, Shares a Throwback Photo of Former Australian Pacer Playing a Guitar

Sachin Tendulkar wished Brett Lee on his birthday with a heart-warming message and interesting photo on social media. The Master Blaster shared a throwback photo on Instagram in which the former Australian pacer was seen playing a guitar. Former Australian cricketer and former world no.1 ODI bowler turned 43 years old on Friday (November 8). Lee played from 1999 to 2012 for Australia and was one of the leading bowlers during Australia’s dominance over cricket in the early 2000s. The former Australian bowler was quick to respond to Sachin’s heart-warming message. “That means a lot coming from a legend like you”, he commented on the post. Brett Lee played for Australia in all the three formats of the game. His international career consisted of 76 Tests, 221 ODIs and 25 T20I.

He bagged 310 wickets in Tests, 380 wickets in ODIs and 28 in T20Is. His fastest delivery was measured at 161.1 km/hr. He was a star bowler during Australia’s victories in ICC Cricket World Cup 2003 and ICC Cricket World Cup 2007. Lee was also the first cricketer to bag a hat-trick in T20I cricket. Lee officially retired from all forms of cricket in January 2015. At present, he is an active commentator.
