Sachin Tendulkar sent greetings to Mohammad Kaif, on Friday, after the latter announced his retirement from all forms of competitive cricket. The cricketing legend that he is, the Master Blaster wished his former team-member in his style, i.e. by remembering India's win against England in Natwest ODI Series in 2002, 16 years ago. Not only that, Tendulkar also shared an old picture of him and Kaif (probably of an ODI series in Pakistan in 2004-05) on his social media account.
Commenting on Mohammad Kaif’s retirement the Indian batting great, Sachin Tendulkar said, “You've chosen the best day to announce your retirement, @MohammadKaif. Those memories are still fresh in our minds. May Lord bless you with more and more success, just like the one at Lord's back in 2002. My best wishes to you always.”
