Sachin Tendulkar remembered his childhood coach Ramakant Achrekar on his first death anniversary. The former Indian batsman took to Twitter and posted an old picture with his coach with an emotional caption. "You will continue to remain in our hearts, Achrekar Sir!" wrote the Indian great on Twitter in both English and Marathi. On many previous occasions, Tendulkar has expressed his respect and gratitude towards his coach and also credits Achrekar for his success in international cricket. On January 2, 2019, Achrekar died due to his age-related issues and his greatest student paid tribute to him on his first death anniversary.
