As Amitabh Bachchan is set to be honoured with prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award, Sachin Tendulkar shared an admiring post on social media to congratulate the Bollywood legend. Master Blaster took to Twitter and posted a photo of the 76-year-old Indian actor while hailing him. Tendulkar also wrote a famous dialogue from Amitabh Bachchan’s popular film Agneepath. Amitabh Bachchan has been chosen for the prestigious award for the year 2018, for his immense contribution to the Bollywood industry over the years. The Indian actor made an entry into Bollywood with his first film 'Saat Hindustani’ and later rose to fame with many brilliant roles in his career. Currently, he is busy with season 11 of Kaun Banega Crorepati. Dadasaheb Phalke Award is India's highest award in cinema. It is awarded by Indian President every year during National Films Awards ceremony. Tendulkar and Amitabh are considered Indian legends in the field of cricket and Bollywood respectively. While Sachin Tendulkar has retired from cricket and is an active cricket commentator at present, Amitabh is still active in films. His last Bollywood film Badla released in 2018.
