History repeats itself quite often at least in case of Sunrisers Hyderabad. After defending low-scoring games against Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders, the bowlers of Sunrisers Hyderabad pull yet another game for the team and brought SRH on the Top of the Points Table. It was in the 28th game of the IPL 2018 where Rajasthan Royals played hosts to the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Post winning the toss, Kane Williamson opted to bat first. After Shikhar Dhawan made his way to the pavilion in the 1st over itself, Alex Hales and Kane Williamson brought in 92 runs partnership for the team. Williamson made 63 runs off 43 balls.

Titbits from Shakib Al Hasan, Manish Pandey, Wriddhiman Saha and Yusuf Pathan brought the team to the total of 151/ 7. The score looked quite gettable considering Rajasthan has names like Ben Stokes, Sanju Samson and Jos Buttler. But, Sandeep Sharma got rid of Rahul Tripathi in the first over itself making way for Sanju Samson who scored 40 off 30 balls. Yusuf Pathan came in handy getting rid of Ben Stokes in his first ball. Siddharth Kaul got chipped in with a couple of wickets of Sanju Samson and Mahipal Lomror. Skipper AJinkya Rahane remained not out with 65 off 53 runs. You can check the video highlights of the team here.

Kane Williamson was made the man of the match. He said, “We had a good start. The surface was on the slow side, and there was not much bounce. I thought the way they bowled the short ball was pretty good, and it's something we wanted to do in our bowling innings. It was nice to get that dismissal early. Yusuf's wicket was lucky, but it was a good wicket at that stage because Stokes is a dangerous player. We didn't get the 10-15 more on a challenging surface, but it was an improvement nevertheless. Twenty20 is unpredictable in nature and it's nice to get a few wins on the board. Alex is world-class in this format. He made a very good contribution today."
