Former Indian cricketer turned commentator Murali Kartik ahead of the Rajasthan Royals vs Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur goofed up with actor Ranbir Kapoor’s name and called him Ranveer Singh instead. Kapoor was promising his upcoming movie Sanju which is based on film actor Sanjay Dutt. During the pre-match show, Kapoor had a segment wherein he taught famous Bollywood dialogues to former Australian cricketers Michael Clarke and Brett Lee. And it was after it, Kartik called Ranbir as Ranveer Singh.
However the error went noticed, but some of Twitterati did manage to pick the goof-up by the former spinner. “Did anyone notice @kartikmurali messing up Ranbir Kapoor’s name?” Wrote one of the users. Another user was at his witty best when sarcastically called Murali Kartik as Murali Vijay. Here are the few reactions:

England batsman Alex Hales was finally included in the Sunrisers Hyderabad playing XI as Mohammad Nabi was left out. Rajasthan Royals, on the other hand, made a couple of changes as well by including New Zealand spinner Ish Sodhi, who will be making his IPL debut, and Mahipal Lomror.
While Sunrisers Hyderabad are placed second with five wins from seven matches, Royals are currently on fifth place. The Ajinkya Rahane-led side has won three out of six matches. Later on Sunday, seventh-placed Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will host fifth-ranked Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
