Mumbai, May 11: Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 still has a couple of weeks’ action left. With the teams vying for the remaining three Playoffs’ spots, it will be an interesting sight to see Rajasthan Royals (RR) lock horns with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on May 11. The 43rd match of the IPL will see RR playing to stay relevant in the match, whereas CSK would be looking forward to finalising their spot in the Playoffs this season.
When both sides met previously at the MCA International Stadium in Pune on April 20, it was MS Dhoni-led side who had the last laugh in the night. Shane Watson’s pure class, coupled with Suresh Raina’s & DJ Bravo’s cameos saw CSK post a total of 204 on the board. Chasing it, the Ajinkya Rahane-led team were listless in their inning, with only Ben Stokes being the saving grace.
Amabati Rayudu, being used as a floater this season, has given Chennai Super Kings the much-needed flexibility in their batting line-up. With Watson and Dhoni rediscovering their form this season, CSK would be hoping to clear their road to playoffs, tonight.
