Rohit Sharma, Prithvi Shaw and Ajinkya Rahane are currently playing the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2018 for Mumbai. Today, the Mumbai team locked horns against Hyderabad in the semi-finals at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. After winning the toss, Hyderabad chose to bat and put up the score of 246 runs for Mumbai. Now, in the 19th over when Hyderabad was bowling, Rohit Sharma was standing at the first slips and took the catch which left the umpires puzzled.
It was when the Bavanka Sandeep flicked the ball behind the square that went straight to Rohit Sharma. In the first go, the catch looked quite convincing but then referred to the third umpire, who ultimately said that the batsman was out. Sandeep who made to the pavilion looked extremely dejected with the decision and the batsman made 29 runs off 33 balls. Talking about the semi-finals of the Vijay Hazare Trophy, it was Tushar Deshpande who once again snapped the maximum wickets. He got three wickets whereas, Roystan Dias got a couple of them. Prithvi Shaw scored a blistering knock of 61 runs off 44 balls. Rohit Sharma on the other day made 17 runs. For now, Shreyas Iyer and Ajinkya Rahane are batting on the score of 55 and 17 runs respectively. Rain has disrupted the play as of now. Mehdi Hasan snapped a couple of wickets. The second semi-final of the match will be played between Delhi and Jharkhand on October 18.
