Rohit is currently on a break from cricket and is enjoying his time off with the family. The right-handed opening batsman was rested for three-match T20 International series against Sri Lanka, which begins from January 05, 2020 onwards. However, the Indian vice-captain will be back in action for three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) against Australia, which starts on January 14.

2019 was yet another prolific year for the right-hander. The opener finished as highest run-getter in ODIs in 2019 as he scored 1490 from 28 matches. Rohit also broke Sanath Jayasuriya's 22-year-old record for the most runs in a calendar year by an opener across all three formats.
