Indian skipper Virat Kohli and his deputy and one of the go-to man in limited overs cricket, Rohit Sharma seem to be heading towards some sort of collision course. The Mumbai batsman has purportedly unfollowed Virat on social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram. This comes just a few days after Rohit Sharma takes Virat Kohli's place as the captain of Indian Cricket Team for Asia Cup 2018. While, there was no prior hint of any differences between the duo, Rohit Sharma’s departure from the Test team could be one of the reasons for Rohit’s actions. Whatever be their situation between the duo, this certainly does not bode well for the Indian team and with the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 less than a year away. All of this has led to Twitterati making a lot of hue and cry on the micro-blogging platform. Rohit Sharma To Captain Indian Team at Asia Cup 2018, Virat Kohli Rested, Khaleel Ahmed to Debut.

Rohit Sharma had recently liked a tweet criticising the BCCI for allowing Anushka Sharma to be with the team while banning other WAGS from the tour. The apparent special treatment meted out to Kohli was highlighted by Twitter users, and Sharma in a way gave his nod to it. In a photograph posted by the BCCI on its handle, the Indian Team along with Anushka Sharma were seen at the Indian High Commission, and many people questioned the actress’s presence with the team at a formal meet. While it is a no-brainer that Kohli is a powerful figure in Indian cricket but BCCI it seems did go out of the way to accommodate the Indian skipper’s wife. Anushka Sharma Joins Indian Team: Rohit Sharma ‘LIKES’ the Tweet Which Talks About Different Rules for Different Players.

Hahahaha....This Got Us ROFLing

Both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been the mainstay of the Indian batting for the past many years in ODI and T20. But they have also been involved in several run out’s between them which is an indicator of the communication flaw between them. The flaw has now snowballed into an open cold war where the vice-captain is not impressed with his recent removal from the test team. Rohit had failed in the South Africa series and the England ODI, and T20 too seems to have brought no luck. But he was sure of his place considering his wealth of experience, but Virat handed him the chop. This is what irked Rohit Sharma who still averages above 55 in the No 6. position for India in tests.

With Rohit now set to lead India in the 2018 Asia Cup and Virat Kohli rested, the Mumbai Indian skipper will enjoy all the freedom and will hope to lead India to the title.
