June 23, 2013, was the day when the Indians swelled with pride as the Men in Blue lifted the prestigious ICC Champions Trophy 2013 as they went on to beat England by five wickets. The match was held in Birmingham and surely the day was scripted in golden letters in the history of Indian cricket. Needless to say that this day was quite a memorable one for the players in the team. A while ago, Rohit Sharma shared a snap of the memorable day on social media. Talking about the game, after winning the toss, England elected to field first. Rohit Sharma got out early in the game on the score of 9.Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli stabilised the team after an initial hiccup. Titbits from others helped the team reach a total of 129 runs. It was the spinning duo Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja snapped a couple of wickets each. Ishant Sharma got a couple of wickets. In the end, the Men in Blue won the game by five wickets.
