Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma is set to play his 100th T20I game during India vs Bangladesh today at the Saurashtra Cricket Association in Rajkot in the second game of three-match series. The 32-year-old, who is already India’s highest capped T20I player would also become the nation’s first men’s cricketer and second overall to appear in 100 Twenty20 International matches for India. Now, on this occasion, the Hitman was quite overwhelmed and he also said that he was quite grateful for the opportunity he got till date. The Hitman also said that he never thought that he will play so many games and his journey to reach the 100 was quite a long one. The Mumbai batsman also says that he has encountered a lot of ups and downs till date but had understood his game better. “I am very happy where I stand right now and it’s a very proud moment for me,” he said. The Hitman has four centuries in the T20Is and was asked to zero down on his favourite one but he said he won’t be able to pick one because all four were important.  But finally says the first century being the first was quite close to his heart. Talking about the series, Rohit Sharma would want to register a win for India in his 100th game as the series stands on 1-0. India lost their last T20I game for the first time against Bangladesh by seven wickets.
