Rohit Sharma looked at his prime during the 2nd India vs West Indies ODI in Visakhapatnam and mustered his 28th ODI century. The Indian opener has enjoyed a rich vein of form in 2019 as it was his seventh ODI ton this year. After falling for just 36 runs in the opening clash of the series, the 32-year old didn’t put a foot wrong in the ongoing clash and brought up his ton of 107 deliveries. During the course of his knock, the right-handed batsman smashed 11 boundaries and 4 maximums. Earlier in the match, West Indies won the toss and elected to bowl first. India lost the first match of the series by eight wickets and trailing in the three-match series 1-0. However, they made a brilliant start in the ongoing clash and are cruising towards a mammoth first innings total. With more than 15 overs still left in the first innings, the stage is all set for the likes of Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant to put the foot on the paddle in order to put the host firmly on the driver's seat.
