Rohit Sharma Scores 3rd T20I Century As India Beat England to Clinch Series 2–1

Rohit Sharma carried his bat through as he scored unbeaten 100 off just 56 balls to register his third T20I century. Thanks to Rohit’s match-winning knock India won the third and final T20I at the County Ground in Bristol against England and with it clinched the three-match series 2-1. Chasing 199, India reached the target in 18.4 overs with seven wickets in hand. The right-hander was well supported by captain Virat Kohli and all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who scored 43 and 33 respectively. Despite losing Shikhar Dhawan early on, India did well to rebuild all thanks to Rohit. The right-hander added 41-run stand with KL Rahul to take India past 50-run mark inside the powerplay overs. However, India lost the wicket of Kohli in the 15th over and it looked like England will crawl back in the game. But Pandya, who was promoted ahead of MS Dhoni, made sure that wasn’t the case. The hard-hitting batsman lived up to his reputation as he smashed four fours and two sixes during his unbeaten stay. Rohit then completed his century as India were a stroke away from win. The talented opener during his stay smashed 11 sixes and five sixes.
