Rohit Sharma Posts a Cheeky Birthday Wish for Shardul Thakur Who Dons Sachin Tendulkar's Number 10 Jersey, Says, ‘It Takes Guts to Wear That Jersey’

Indian pacer Shardul Thakur celebrates his birthday yesterday. Not only fans but also his fellow cricketer wished the Chennai Super Kings’ pacer on social media as Thakur turned 28. Indian opener Rohit Sharma also joined the bandwagon and posted a cheeky message for the pacer and commented on the jersey donned by Thakur. Shardul might have not been up to the mark in international cricket but remains a key player in the domestic circuit. As of now, the pacer is playing for Mumbai in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2019. Shardul also responded to the tweet and thanked Sharma for his wishes. Shardul even thanked his fans for their warm wishes on his birthday.

Shardul made his international debut for India in August 2017 but sadly has failed to live up to the expectations whenever he got opportunities. Thakur has played five ODIs so far in his career and has bowled at an economy of 6.08. Having played only one Test match for India, Thakur has played seven T20Is. Certainly, the pacer is looking forward to regaining his spot in the international circuit.
