“She got hit by a @rohitsharma45 maximum and the opener was kind enough to check on her and give her a signed hat”, the caption on the photo read. 30-year-old Sharma scored his fourth century in CWC 2019 tournament in the match against Bangladesh, hitting two consecutive centuries in last two matches of India in World Cup 2019.
In the match, Rohit hit six fours and five sixes in his innings of 104 to reach his century in 90 balls. Rohit is now the leading run-scorer in the tournament with 544 runs in seven matches. With his superb innings, he also equalled former Sri Lankan cricketer Kumara Sangakkara's record of scoring four centuries in a single World Cup tournament, which the Sri Lankan legend made in World Cup 2015.
