The right-handed batsman is also the highest run-scorer (2452) in T20Is and has guided the Men in Blue to numerous victories. To add to that, the batting juggernaut has mustered four centuries in the shortest international which are most for any batsman. Sharma made his T20I debut in the inaugural 2007 World Cup and didn’t take long to make a mark. However, the Mumbai-born batsman will have a point to prove in the 2nd T20I as the hosts faced a shocking defeat in the first clash and will aim to make an emphatic comeback. To date, the Indian batting giant hasn’t lost a single T20I series as captain and in order to make that record stand, Rohit has to lead from the front and guide India over the line.
