Rohit Sharma is someone who always supports noble causes. On World Water Day, the star batsman urged his fans to respect the availability of water. In the tweet, he also recalled his bad experience while he was in Cape Town which back then face acute water scarcity.
He tweeted, "I was in Cape Town just a few months ago and could clearly see that the water we take for granted isn’t infinitely available. Let’s all respect the importance of water and understand how we can conserve it and make a difference #WorldWaterDay."

A couple of days ago, the right-hander expressed his sadness over the death of Sudan, the last male white rhino. Rohit, who met Sudan during one of his visits to Kenya shared a heartfelt posted on Twitter.
He posted the snap of himself with Sudan and captioned it,"The last Male has fallen #WeDidThis the last Northern White African male rhino marks the certain extinction of this incredible species. Rest in peace Sudan, you deserved so much better. On behalf of all mankind, I’m sorry #WeDidThis 💔 #SudanForever."
Rohit Sharma is currently holidaying at an undisclosed location with his wife Ritika Sajdeh. Both keep posting lovey-dovey images of them together spending quality time with each other. Rohit will soon join Mumbai Indians for the 11th season of the Indian Premier League.
