Indian vice-captain Rohit Sharma and his wife Ritika Sajdesh have become parents for the first time as his wife delivered a baby girl. The news, however, may come as a surprise for many considering the low profile the dynamic duo have maintained on this issue. Seema Khan, wife of actor Sohail Khan who is Ritika’s cousin was the first one to break the news to the world. As soon as the news broke, the netizens posted tweets and congratulated the couple. Rohit Sharma who is currently part of the touring Indian side for the test series down under was recently seen in promotional video speaking to Michael Clarke about his wife’s pregnancy. The Mumbai Indians skipper had said he cannot wait to become a father and that the moment will be a game changer in his life. Finally, the moment has arrived but we are yet to officially hear something from the Sharma’s. It is great news for the ‘Hitman’ fans as they celebrate on social media platforms with wishes pouring in for the batsman. It is a double celebration considering the great win for the team in Melbourne after a gap of 37 years.

It will be interesting to see how Rohit Sharma bats in the fourth test considering the struggles he has had in the series so far. His fans will be certainly hoping the new entrant in his family brings in immense luck and fortune. He has also confessed about his poor habit of forgetting things and that will certainly need to go now with Father duties coming his way.
