“Dancing our way into 2020” read the caption of the video posted by the number-two ranked ODI batsman on Instagram. Rohit enjoyed a dream run in 2019 where he smashed boundaries and maximums for fun and also crashed a flurry of records in the process. In fact, the right-handed batsman finished the year as the leading ODI run-scorer with 1490 runs and will look to continue his purple patch in the forthcoming year. However, during his rest-days, Rohit is very-well fulfilling the duties of a father by giving ample his daughter.

Speaking of Rohit Sharma’s dream year, from scoring a record five centuries in 2019 World Cup to smashing his maiden Test double-ton, the Indian vice-captain has added many feathers to his prestigious hat. He has been given a much-needed rest for the three-match T20I series between India and Sri Lanka. However, he will be back in action against the three-match ODI series against Australia and the Men in Yellow mast vary him.

With the ICC World Test Championship going on and the ICC T20 World Cup 2020 being less than a year away, the 32-year old will be expected to give India good start regularly in order to guide India to the titles.
