Rishabh Pant played an unbeaten 65 run knock off 42 balls as India chased the 147-run target set by West Indies. Pant also revealed that he and Virat Kohli planned to create a partnership and then hit some big shots in the death overs to reach the target. Sharma then asks him whether he gets frustrated when his thought process doesn’t work or assess his batting. To this, Pant replied that he gets frustrated sometimes and also assess what he could have done in such a situation. But he believes in his basics and my process.
Pant also mentioned that he does feel pressure due to the expectations of cricket fans from him but the support of the team and senior players help him to boost his confidence. Meanwhile, India whitewashed West Indies in the three-match T20 series after winning the third T20 by seven wickets. Deepak Chahar took 3 wickets in the match and was awarded player of the match.
