Talking about the match, India posted a hefty total of 358 runs. Indian openers Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma made 143 and 95 runs respectively. Australia had a wobbly start to their innings as they lost their opener Aaron Finch on the score of 0 and then Shaun Marsh made way to the pavilion on the score of 6. Usman Khawaja and Peter Handscomb handled the Aussie innings by scoring 91 and 117 respectively. It was Ashton Turner who took the team to the finishing line.
