While speaking during 'The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show' Indian captain Rohit Sharma had revealed that Rishabh Pant faked an injury during the final of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 against South Africa. Rishabh Pant Opens Up on Faking Injury During T20 World Cup 2024 Final 

 

Rishabh Pant was also asked the same question during his appearance at a public event regarding the incident. Pant revealed that he faked the injury and stated that there wouldn't be any such moment again when he will be playing a World Cup final. Pant added that he kept on telling the physio that he kept on wasting the time. The video of the incident is going viral on social media.
