RCB vs KKR Highlights of IPL 2020: Royal Challengers Bangalore Beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 82 Runs

RCB win by 82 runs! That's it! A fine win for Virat Kohli-led side. This is RCB's fifth win of the season as they move to third on the IPL 2020 points table. Bowlers complimented the batsmen as RCB register an impressive win. At halfway stage Mumbai Indians are on top of the team standings.

Now that Andre Russell his back in the hutch, RCB are now certain of their win. The Virat Kohli-led side should look to register a big win to boost their net run rate. Isuru Udana went for 15 runs in his first over but he picked the all-important wicket of Andre Russell. The required run-rate is nearing the improbable 20-run mark.

Knight Riders have lost half the side as equation reads 124 needed off 42 balls. The required run-rate has skyrocketed to 17.71 runs per over. Andre Russell, KKR’s only and genuine hope, is out there in the middle. He hasn’t been in that good form this season. Could this be his night?

Some trouble for Knight Riders as Yuzvendra Chahal removes Dinesh Karthik. In nine overs, Knight Riders need 131 runs more to win at a required run-rate of 14.83. Andre Russell has now joined Eoin Morgan.

Excellent start this for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Navdeep Saini has bowled Tom Banton. Nitish Rana now joins Shubman Gill in the middle. KKR need one big partnership from here now.

RCB finish with a big total. AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli toyed with the KKR bowling attack, particularly the South African batsman. AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli have added 69 runs for the third wicket thus far and the two are looking for final flourish. AB de Villiers has completed his half-century and has been aggressive in this partnership. 

It is now down to RCB's two trusted batsmen Virat Kohl and AB de Villiers. RCB will be looking for the final onslaught and eye to go past 170-run mark from here. 

Halfway through both teams will be happy with proceedings thus far. Andre Russell separated the openers as he removed Devdutt Padikkal. Meanwhile, captain Virat Kohli has joined Aaron Finch in the middle.
