RCB Captain Virat Kohli Refuses to Share Screen With Deepika Padukone for a Promotional Ad?

Vijay Mallya's Royal Challengers were about to seal 11 crore deal with Goibibo and as a part of the deal captain Virat Kohli was supposed to share the screen with Bajirao Mastani actress Deepika Padukone, who is the brand ambassador for the travel company.

However,  as per insider.com, Virat refused to share screens with another celeb and Goibibo was hellbent to get Deepika on-board.

The reports states, “The RCB captain, in general, is not opposed to working with other celebrities professionally. However, in the present case, the demand was ‘beyond the terms of his IPL contract’. However, the report further stated that the team dropped out of the deal as they got a better offer.

Earlier when Goibibo.com as part of the deal had asked for brand activation with RCB captain Virat Kohli. The team India and Royal Challengers Bangalore captain had no issues to fulfill his contractual duties.

Talking about RCB, the team has started preparing for IPL 2018. Many domestic players have already reported to Bangalore. Yesterday, the domestic players were seen hitting the nets. The team shared several pictures of the same on Instagram. They captioned the picture, "There's no better match preparation than getting a hit out in the field, getting used to the fielding drills or stretching out your bowling arm! #PlayBold."

Team RCB includes players like Yuzvendra Chahal, Colin de Grandhomme, Parthiv Patel, Moeen Ali, Brendon  McCullum, Tim Southee, Umesh Yadav, Manan Vohra and many others. RCB has not won a single contest in 11 years so far and is surely looking forward to walk away with the trophy this year.
