Ravindra Jadeja can find a place in the playing XI just on the basis of his fielding. The all-rounder not only saves runs with his acrobatic fielding but inflicts run outs as well. Jadeja across all formats often finds the stumps directly and it is something which comes to him naturally. Jadeja with his direct hit caught Usman Khawaja short of the crease at the non-striker’s end. The left-hander was looking good and batting on 21 when Jadeja provided his side with a vital breakthrough. Khawaja was looking to steal a run, but Jadeja’s direct hit never allowed him to do so.

Jadeja gathered the ball with his left-hand and instantly threw it at the stumps. His direct hit resulted in Khawaja’s run-out. Khawaja was in the middle of a fine partnership with Shaun Marsh. The duo led an Aussie fightback after the home side lost openers, Aaron Finch and Alex Carey, early.

The partnership between Khawaja and Marsh was worth 56. Marsh continued his dominance and at the time of filling this story, he had completed his century, 7th for the left-hander in ODIs. Apart from the 50-run stand with Khawaja and Handscomb, Marsh shared 55 for the fifth wicket with Marcus Stoinis as well.
