Now, Ganguly was obviously in the know-how of the things and expressed his disagreement with Ravi Shastri. The Bengal tiger congratulated the youngster but also added that he should not be compared to Sehwag, “Don't compare him with Sehwag. Sehwag was an absolute genius. Let him go around the world, I am sure he will get runs in Australia, England and South Africa but don't compare him with Sehwag,” elaborated Ganguly. The former India captain also said that Shaw could do well in Australia particularly because of the fact that he is a back foot player. “He will go to Australia in a couple of months. I am sure he will do well because he is a good back foot player. You want to see young players doing well."
