Ravi Shastri and Sourav Ganguly had been at loggerheads since quite a long time. Their animosity dated back since the time Shastri had applied for the position of a coach for the Indian team. Ganguly was blamed for Ravi Shastri not being appointed the coach for the team and Anil Kumble filled in the shoes of the coach. War of words followed between the two and either of them took a jibe at each other at every given opportunity. Cut to present. Ravi Shastri is currently the coach of the Indian cricket team, whereas, Ganguly handles the reins of the BCCI. Now that Ganguly is the new BCCI Chief, looks like Shastri is extending an olive branch towards the former Indian captain. Shastri took to social media and has praised Ganguly for organising the Pink Ball Test match. The Indian head coach took to social media and shared a picture of himself shaking hands with Ganguly and had a rather interesting caption to it. Check out the post below:

The Pink Ball Test match between India and Bangladesh was hosted in Kolkata at the Eden Gardens. The match which got over in three days witnessed a full house and the tickets were sold out. The BCCI Chief was also relived with the fact that the match went on to be a sold-out affair.
