The incident took place in the 17th over and Russell was batting on three. After being handed the lifeline, Russell went berserk and scored 48 off just 17 balls. The Windies import in KKR lineup smashed three fours and five sixes to help Knight Riders post 218 for four in their allotted 20 overs.

Russell’s cameo could prove to be the difference between the two sides.
