As England played Afghanistan in the CWC 2019 tie at The Old Trafford Rashid Khan went on leaked 110 runs from nine overs. Needless to say that he as subjected to trolls which also included a nasty comment from Cricket Iceland. But England Pacer Stuart Broad and Luke Wright came to his rescue and supported the Afghani spinner on social media. ENG beat AFG by 150 runs.
Talking about England, Eoin Morgan was blazing guns with his explosive knock of 148 runs from 71 balls. Rashid Khan bowled at an economy of 12.22 runs per over and could not snap a single wicket. Cricket Iceland took a jibe at Rashid and congratulated the spinner for scoring a century. This jibe did not go down well with Luke Wright and Stuart Broad who came in support of the 20-year-old.

Talking about the match, England won the toss and elected to bat first. Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root started hitting big shots after the departure of James Vince. Root made 88 and Bairstow scored 90 runs. Post which England captain Eoin Morgan shifted gears and went on a hitting spree. It was Gulbadin Naib who got rid of Morgan on the score of 148 runs. England won the game by 150 runs.
