MS Dhoni’s style is something that every cricketer wishes to emulate. Many cricketers have tried playing his famous helicopter shot. Now, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan joined the bandwagon tried the same shot during Maratha Arabians vs Pakhtoon in the T10 League matches. Rashid Khan plays who plays for Maratha Arabians chipped in with 21 runs off 7 balls. Mohammed Irfan was the bowler who was at the receiving end. India’s Rishabh Pant also praised Khan for the shot.
However, Pakhtoons won the match by eight wickets as England’s Richard Gleeson conceded most number of runs for the team. In his innings, the Afghani spinner smashed a couple of sixes and fours. Rashid Khan shared the video of himself hitting the ball out of the park on social media. He also went on to label MS Dhoni as the inventor of the shot. The Maratha Arabians made 125 runs from 10 overs with the loss of seven wickets. Earlier in the league it was Afghanistan’s Mohammad Shahzad who was in the news for scoring a blistering knock of 74 runs from 16 balls. His team was chasing 94 runs in just four overs. The finals of the T10 League will be played on December 2 at the Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium.
