Pakistan suffered a seven-wicket defeat against Australia at the Manuka Oval as they put up a total of 150 runs on the board. Now, this has angered the former Pakistani cricketer Ramiz Raja who lashed out at the Pakistani cricketers for their sloppy fielding. He went on to say that none of the cricketers apart from Babar Azam, Shadab Khan, and Fakhar Zaman are athletic. He also said that fielding is a serious concern for the team and they can always get challenged for a single. AUS Beat PAK By 7 Wickets.
Ramiz Raja also slammed the out of form top order and said that one cannot play aggressively. “You can’t play with an attacking mode if your top-order is out of form. Fakhar is terribly out of touch due to which Pakistan is unable to get a good start,” Raja further added and said, “Babar is fighting a lone battle with his batting. If at some point, he fails to handle the pressure of carrying the entire batting line-up, then you can imagine where our batting will stand.”
Talking about the match, Australia achieved a total in 18.3 overs. It was Steve Smith who made the highest score of 80 runs from 51 balls hitting 11 fours and one six. Needless to say that Australian batsman who enjoyed a great run of luck during the Ashes 2019-20 walked away with the Man of the Match award. The series now stands on 1-0 with Australia leading the three-game T20I series and the visitors would now want to equalise the series in Perth.
