Former Indian cricketer turned Under-19 coach, Rahul Dravid, is all set to lead the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, as the decks have been cleared for the cricketing legend to helm the affairs at the all important national cricketing facility. Dravid also holds the position of India A team and India Under-19 team (men's), in addition to his new role in the Academy.
Dravid's appointment to the position of the head of NCA was stalled due to a conflict of interest issue. The 'Wall' was supposed to join on July 1.
Dravid is also a paid employee of India Cements and as per the BCCI constitution, an individual can't hold multiple positions at the same time, bringing the former India captain under the ambit of conflict of interest. However, the issue has been resolved now, suggested reports and Dravid is all set to take charge of the NCA, claimed reports.
