Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) opener Virat Kohli strengthened his hold on the IPL 2024 'Orange Cap,' being the first batter this season to surpass the 600-run mark with a match-winning performance of 92 off 47 balls against Punjab Kings (PBKS) at Dharamshala. Kohli took his run tally to 634, with an average of 70.44 and a strike rate of 153.51.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain Ruturaj Gaikwad has 541 runs from 11 games at an average of 54.10 and a strike rate of 145.82, putting him second on the list.

SRH opener Travis Head, who struck an unbeaten 89 against LSG on Wednesday, rose to third position with 533 runs.

Gujarat Titans Sai Sudharsan moved up to fourth place with 527 runs after scoring a century against CSK in Ahmedabad on Friday.

With 471 runs, Rajasthan Royals (RR) captain Sanju Samson rounds out the top five. Meanwhile, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) opener Sunil Narine with 461 runs is in sixth place, barely ahead of KL Rahul (460) in seventh, who has 24 runs more than Riyan Parag (436).
