In the post-match presentation of Pakistan vs Sri Lanka third T20I, Hasaranga bagged the Man of the Series award and was called upon to have a chat with former Pakistani captain and TV presenter Ramiz Raja. As the leggie wasn’t very fluent in English, Sri Lankan chief selector Asantha de Mel stepped up to translate. Ramiz asked the youngster whether it was the best he has bowled. To which Hasarang replied saying “Yes”. The cricketer replied in simple English but the translator went on the explain he’s saying yes.
