PSL Players Draft: List of Players Available for Pakistan Super League T20 2019

Over 600 foreign and local players are part of the PSL T20 2019 Players Draft.

The Pakistan Super League Player Draft 2018 (PSL T20) will take place on November 20 in Islamabad. Ahead of the upcoming draft, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released a list of players under various categories who will be available for the selection. Meanwhile, each franchise can retain up to a maximum of ten players from the previous squad and have a deadline of November 13 for it. The related players will go back in the PSL T20 2018 Draft pool.

Over 600 foreign and local players are part of the PSL Player Draft which has been divided into Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver and Emerging rosters. Interestingly, top cricketers like AB de Villiers and Steve Smith will feature in the PSL T20 for the first time. Apart from them, Chris Lynn, Brendon McCullum, Corey Anderson, Colin Munro, Luke Ronchi, Dwayne Bravo, Sunil Narine, Kieron Pollard, Imran Tahir, Mitchell McClenaghan, Thisara Perera, Rashid Khan, and Colin Ingram will be available in the PSL T20 Draft as well. PCB Terminates Agreement with PSL Franchise Multan Sultans

Each franchise will be allowed a maximum of 16 players in their squad, that is three players from Platinum, three from Diamond and as many from Gold while five from Silver and two Emerging players. The PSL T20 2019 is scheduled to begin from February 14 onwards.

Meanwhile, PCB has terminated the franchise agreement of the Multan Sultans PSL team. Multan Sultans was added as the sixth team in last year’s PSL. For now, PCB will take control of the team and will pick the players for the team at the draft. The cricket board will later sell the rights of the franchise and the team will be based and named as per the new owners.
