PSL 2023 Full Squads: Check Players List of Each Team After Pakistan Super League Draft

Pakistan Super League 2023 will start on February 9, 2023. The tournament will run until March 19, 2023, in four Pakistani cities. The all-awaited draft for the PSL 2023 happened yesterday, December 15 in Karachi. Prior to the draft every franchise apart from Peshwar Zalmi (7) retained 8 players. Each team could make a squad of 18 players including six foreigners. Over 1000 players enlisted themselves for the remaining 61  slots. These Players were divided into five categories - platinum, diamond, gold, silver, emerging and supplementary. Each team could only pick three players from the platinum, diamond and gold categories, five from the silver and two each from emerging and supplementary.

Pakistan captain Babar Azam was picked by Peshawar Zalmi. Meanwhile, young leg spinner Abrar Ahmed joined Islamabad United. Players like Wanindu Hasaranga, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Matthew Wade, Jimmy Neesham and Tabraiz Shamsi got their first PSL franchises. Unfortunately, big names like Mohammad Hafiz, Ahmed Shehzad and Kamran Akmal were not drafted.
