No surprise that fast-bowlers dominated the show so far in the Pakistan Super League 2019 (PSL 2019). In top five, four places were occupied by the pacers and Karachi Kings' youngster Umer Khan was the lone spinner. Peshawar Zalmi's Hasan Ali finished as the highest wicket-taker in PSL 2019. He scalped three four-wicket hauls during the tourney to cement his place on top. He is followed by Islamabad United's Faheem Ashraf. The fourth edition of PSL will be held from February 14 to March 17. The bowler with most wickets throughout the PSL 2019 will don a Maroon Cap also known as Fazal Mahmood Cap to signify that he is the highest wicket-taker. PSL 2019 will feature around 33 matches including a playoffs and finals. A team will play ten round-robin matches before the playoffs. Top four teams on PSL 2019 points table will then proceed to playoffs. Islamabad United’s Faheem Ashraf and Peshawar Zalmi’s Wahab Riaz were the leading wicket-taker in the last year’s PSL. Both picked 12 wickets with Faheem playing a match less than Wahab. Sohail Khan was the highest wicket-taker in the PSL 2017 with 16 scalps from nine matches. In the inaugural season of PSL, Andre Russell emerged as the highest wicket-taler with 16 wickets.
