India will be playing against West Indies in the second Test match at Rajiv Gandhi International Gandhi Stadium, in Hyderabad, starting October 12. After a comprehensive victory in the first Test match against Windies, India would be looking forward to repeating their performances. Despite the clinical win at Rajkot, the Indian team sweated it out profusely in the nets, on the eve of the second match.
The training session ahead of the Hyderabad Test match saw Cheteshwar Pujara and other Indian batsmen practising hard in the nets. Prithvi Shaw who impressed everyone with his debut ton in the first Test was seen at the practice session too. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and fast bowler Umesh Yadav had some bowling practice under the watchful eyes of Ravi Shastri, too.

Opener KL Rahul was spotted practising too. The opener had a below-par outing in the first Test match as he failed to score a run. Kuldeep Yadav became the second Indian bowler to pick up a five-wicket across all formats was seen taking a rest after a fielding drill. Captain Virat Kohli was a little too joyous while practising in the middle. India Beat West Indies in Rajkot Test by an Innings and 272 Runs, Take 1–0 Lead in Two-Match IND vs WI Series.

Rishabh Pant and Kuldeep Yadav were also seen slogging while polishing their batting skills in the nets. Pant got out on 92 runs to a mistimed shot in the first innings, and missed out on a Test century. Will he look to make amends in his batting and better his score?

It will be India’s last chance to play a Test match before the tour Down Under. Mayank Agarwal’s exclusion may be a quintessential question for the team management to answer; however, there didn’t seem any space in the line-up, except for the fact that a senior player could have been rested.
Come Friday, India will be going out to sweep the series 2-0 and look forward to carrying the momentum in the ODI series. Stay tuned with us for the latest updates about India vs West Indies Series 2018!
