Shaw donned the Indian cap last year in 2018 against West Indies. He scored a century in his debut match. In the second Test he scored 103 runs and went on to grab the Man of the Series award. He batted with an average of an average of 118.50. Recently, he was nominated for the Yono SBI Award. He posted a video of himself and thanked everyone for the award.
Shaw had recently revealed that he will be fit in time for the 12th season of Indian Premier League starting March 23. Shaw has been retained by Delhi Capitals for what will be his second season.
