Day 3 and Day 4 of the 2nd Test match between India and West Indies at Port of Spain, Trinidad saw rain interruptions. In Day 4, several overs was lost and it also forced India to declare early, Currently the weather stands between a result favouring India and a draw. A pretty anticlimactic ending to the series. West Indies fought hard in this buying time and eventually it has paid off helping them draw a Test match. India win the series 1-0. Off to the ODI series now. It will carry immense importance given the preparation of the ICC World Cup 2023 in October.

That's it. As anticipated, the match has been called off and we don't get any overs. India has to painfully accept the draw. There has been a hopeful phase in the middle where we could have got some action but by the time the ground was ready the rain was back again. Considering India has to tour South Africa and Australia in this cycle of WTC, they would be really disappointed on missing on crucial points.
