Australia National Cricket team have sent a few of their players back in Australia who played in the IPL 2024 playoffs to have a break for two to three days , refresh themselves before joining the team. According to cricket.com.au, Australia pacer Pat Cummins, who led the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2024 finals, had to spend more than two days in transit between Sydney and the Caribbean. His wife Becky revealed their luggage was also lost along the way. However, it has been learned that Cummins' gear is now with him.

Flight delays also affected Starc and Maxwell, as the pair had to spend a night in Los Angeles and then another night in Miami en route to Barbados after their own brief trips back to Australia following the IPL. That came after Marcus Stoinis was left out of a warm-up match against the West Indies in Trinidad last week when his cricket kit failed to arrive on the island.

Although the delay was not a logistical disaster, it did enough to cause fatigue for players who were already travelling so much during the IPL and have played close to 15-16 games at a stretch. it has also cut down the time together for the group of cricketers needed to gel ahead of such a mega event.

Australia National Cricket Team players went on a sunset cruise for a team bonding session, as revealed by Aussie spin-allrounder Ashton Agar.  "A lot of the boys are coming off a long time in India in the IPL, maybe 48 hours at home for a couple of them, so to do something like that is so refreshing," Agar told reporters.

"I think mentally once you've done that, you go into the sessions ready to go, because you've already enjoyed what the Caribbean has to offer. We were sitting on the roof of the catamaran as we were coming back last night and 'Stoin' (Stoinis) actually mentioned that, 'I don't know if many other teams would be like this'. Australia Captain Mitchell Marsh Dons Uganda Jersey As He Interacts With 'Cricket Cranes' Players on the Sidelines of ICC T20 World Cup 2024 (See Pic).

"You've got all the boys sitting on the roof watching the sun go down, having a drink together, having a genuinely good time and enjoying each other's company. "It was pretty easy to forget you're here for a World Cup." Agar signed off. Agar was one of the five Aussie cricketers attending the optional practice on June 2 morning.
