Brian Masaba and Co. registered a brilliant victory against Papua New Guinea in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 match number nine. This was the first time Uganda won a match in the history of the T20 World Cup. The Uganda bowlers wrapped up PNG for a mere total of 77 runs while bowling first and later chased down the target with three wickets to spare. Riazat Ali Shah played a match deciding knock of 33 runs and took his team over the line.
