Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi yesterday at Lord’s, England received a guard of honour before stepping on the field for the T20 charity match against West Indies on Thursday. Afridi declared this as his last international game. While speaking about the guard of honour, Afridi said that he will never forget the moment.

"That's something I'll never forget. For that to happen at the home of cricket, it's massive. The cause was everything tonight, and to have been able to help, it's fantastic. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported this,” he said. Afridi was the captain of the World XI side which lost by 72 runs. The on-field commentator Nasser Hussain asked him if he would want to come back to cricket. He said, “No that's it. You can see my situation with the injury." Afridi scored 11 runs and also took a wicket.

He will even donated 20000$ for the Hurricane victims inthe Caribbean and thanked to ICC for the opportunity. “Thank you ICC for providing me the opportunity of contributing to #CricketRelief cause. It was a real honour for me and a memory I'll cherish for long. On behalf of my Foundation I'm making a donation 20000$ for the Hurricane victims in Caribbean. #HopeNotOut,” he wrote.

Afridi had announced his retirement and only to make a comeback. It was in 2011, he announced his retirement and came back. In 2015, when Pakistan lost to Australia in a World quarter-final game, but once again came out of his retirement.
