Pakistan Win by 10 Wickets | Pakistan vs Zimbabwe Highlights of 2nd T20I 2024: Sufiyan Muqeem's Record Performance Hands Visitors 2-0 Lead in Series

Pakistan have managed to completely outplay Zimbabwe in the second T20I. Sufiyan Muqeem, in particular, broke the back of Zimbabwe's batting, claiming a career-best figures of 5 for 3, which is best for a Pakistan bowler in T20I cricket. Chasing 58, Saim Ayub and Omair Yousuf blew the bowlers away, reaching their target in just 12.4 overs. 

Saim Ayub have blown the Zimbabwean attack to tatters, slamming a quickfire 36 off 18, while Omair Yousuf chimed in with an assertive 22 from 15 balls. With this Pakistan have taken an unassailable lead 2-0 lead in the three T20I series. 

Pakistan openers Saim Ayub and Omair Yousuf have made the Zimbabwe attack look pale. Both players have displayed aggression, and have employed the aerial route in their small knocks so far. 

Pakistan have an easy run chase in front of them but should be wary of showcasing any complacency. Saim Ayub and Omair Yousuf will want to make these 58 runs and cement their place in the top order. 

OUT! Sufiyan Muqeem gets his fifth wicket of the match and his first T20I fifer. Muqeem bamboozled the Zimbabwean batters with his googly, who found the spinner a mystery. Clive Madande much like others, got deceived with a flighted ball, and handed a simple catch in slip, attempting a big shot. This has been some start from the Zimbabwe openers. Both Brian Bennett and Tadiwanashe Marumani have shown absolute disdain for Pakistani pacers, who looked in great touch, especially Haris Rauf. The speedster went for 10 runs in this first over, where Bennett took a liking, smashing four runs. 

Unlike, the first T20I, Zimbabwe openers have looked more solid in the middle, with Brian Bennett taking charge, and smashing 10 runs off Jahandad Khan. Tadiwanashe Marumani will want to repeat his performance from the 1st T20I, where the batter slammed 33. 

Zimbabwe will bat first after winning the toss. Pakistan batted first in the 1st T20I.
