After the PSL 2018 final, fans in Karachi will once again witness international cricketers in action. However, this time the crowd will get to cheer for their national team and not any franchise. The three-match T20I against Windies kicks off tonight in Karachi. Windies have named a weakened squad for their tour, but that doesn’t take the the ‘international stature’ away from the game.
Windies squad boosts of some well known players like Marlon Samuels, Samuel Badree, Denesh Ramdin, Chadwick Walton and Andre Fletcher. While regular captain Jason Holder along with other players decided against touring Pakistan, WICB named Jason Mohammed as leader of the side.
Pakistan, on the other hand, will field full strength team. The hosts have included three news faces , Asif Ali, Hussain Talat and Shaheen Afridi, who were impressive during the 2018 PSL. Fast bowler Rahat Ali also returns to the side following an impressive PSL.
