A big win for USA who will be mighty proud of their effort. Not just is the Super Over but that USA had an upper hand for the most part of this contest. The co-hosts are making a serious statement now, with two wins from two matches and now, they will aim at continuing this momentum. Monank Patel, Nitish Kumar, Saurabh Netravalkar and the others can be mighty proud of this effort. On the other hand, it is a horrible start for Pakistan and Babar Azam and his men have a mountain to climb when they go up against India. A big and unexpected loss to kickstart their ICC T20 World Cup 2024 campaign is a massive setback, but Pakistan has been in this position before (losing to Zimbabwe in the 2022 T20 WC). Aaron Jones kicked off things with a four off the first ball bowled by Mohammad Amir, and he, along with Harmeet Singh, were able to muster runs in the six balls. Amir bowled plenty of extras, something which might haunt them  Onto Pakistan's batters now!

The match has ended in a tie and we will have a Super Over to decide the winner with Nitish Kumar hitting a boundary off the last ball!  Aaron Jones struck a six and Kumar kept a cool head to take the game to the Super Over. This is the second time that a match is heading to the Super Over in this T20 World Cup 2024. What a game and we are yet to find out the winner!
